This necklace was designed with a focus on bringing to light that which is hidden or unconscious so that it can be transformed. Black obsidian is known to be a transformational stone and to assist with dissolving negative patterns. I think of Jasper as the "Mother Earth" stone, very nurturing... a great stone to have on your side when in the midst of a transformation. Precious metals enhance the natural qualities of the stones. The necklace was designed around this stunning black obsidian carved Buddha. Jasper square cut beads in sand, grey and black were hand silk knotted to complement the focal piece. The necklace is finished with a sterling silver lobster clasp and a 3-inch extension chain.
