The backplate has been cut out in the back to allow the light to come through the translucents stones. The earrings are is finished with handmade sterling silver french ear wires. The earrings were then oxidized and burnished to a soft glow. Prehnite is reported to be a stone of dreaming and remembering. It is also known to be a facilitator of divination, named "Stone of Prophecy" and "The Healer's Stone". What a great stone to facilitate meditation and to symbolize self-healing.
